SCORING
In totalling your scores take the percentage scored as points, 60% is 60 points.
Sales Skills Score
- Total your two sales and closing quiz scores (300 possible).
NOTE: You should subtract 20 points from your sales skills scores for each of the
following conditions:
- If if you haven't read a book on sales in the last three months subtract 20 points.
- If you don't have a regular "self development" program for yourself subtract 20 points.
Sales Skills Score Evaluation
0-150 You have a very poor knowledge of basic sales best practices. You are likely missing
a large percentage of your opportunities because you lack the tools to be successful. You should
seriously consider starting a self-development program. Check out our recommended books at
www.penoyer.com.
150-200 You are using some best practices in your selling but you still have room for
significant improvement.
210 and above You are likely doing a reasonable job selling. Keep in
mind however that you can score well and perform poorly.
No matter what you scored taking the time to learn more about selling and communication best
practices will always benefit your efforts, as you can score well and perform poorly.

Telephone Selling Skills Score Evaluation
70 - 100 A good score. You probably have a pretty good knowledge of selling on the phone. But remember that
knowledge isn't doing - you can get a great score and not be applying what you know.
60 or below You knowledge of the best practices of selling are not up to your responsibility.
You should make some effort to learn more about selling on the phone. Consider using the training
